This course is tailored for organizations of 5 or more who are required to learn Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) as part of their job titles. The American Heart Association Heartsaver Course focuses on recognizing and providing basic treatment for adult emergencies. Participants will learn how to respond effectively in emergencies until professional assistance arrives. The course also addresses general health and safety topics, including rescue techniques for choking victims, and provides essential information on the treatment of opioid overdose.
